Founded in 2025, Glennovation is run by a Dublin-based freelance web developer with a background in IT management, cloud infrastructure, and over a decade of hands-on development experience — building custom, high-performing websites for small businesses across Ireland.
Why Glennovation
Glennovation started with a simple frustration: too many small Irish businesses were stuck choosing between expensive agencies and generic, one-size-fits-all website builders. Having spent years on the IT and infrastructure side of the business world, I saw firsthand how much of a difference a properly built, well-hosted website makes — and how rarely small businesses actually got one.
So I set out to offer something different: the technical rigour of an enterprise IT background, applied to affordable, honest websites for local businesses — with a real person on the other end of the phone, not a support ticket queue.
Qualifications
I hold a Level 8 Honours Degree in IT Management, along with an Advanced Certificate in Networks and Software Systems, giving me a solid technical foundation in both the strategic and practical sides of technology.
I’m also certified in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, which strengthens my understanding of modern cloud-based solutions. Together, these qualifications allow me to design and build websites that are not only visually effective, but also reliable, scalable, and aligned with real business goals.
Day to day, that translates into a consistent toolkit: Bootstrap and modern HTML5/CSS3 for the front end, Python for backend and automation work, and Microsoft Azure for hosting and security — the same stack every Glennovation website is built and run on.
Experience
With over 10 years of experience in IT support, software development, and leading teams, I understand what businesses need from their technology to run smoothly and grow effectively. I’ve also spent the past 15 years working on web design and development projects, refining my ability to create websites that don’t just look good — but actually perform.
This means I build sites that are fast, reliable, user-friendly, and designed to turn visitors into real customers, helping your business stand out and grow online. It also means I’m as comfortable troubleshooting hosting and security issues as I am designing a homepage — so the same person who builds your site is the one who keeps it running.
